How to convert directly from Adobe Illustrator to Gcode
You have 2 options
1 - For Windows and Mac copy the included VectortoGcode.jsx in your Adobe illustrator scripts folder.
Usually located in Adobe Illustrator 2021/Presets.localized/en_US/Scripts/
You can then access the file via your File/Scripts menu
2 - As an alternative you can use this amazing free pluguin to easily access your scripts from an illustrator panel. With this panel you can place your scripts anywhere in your computer.

Windows extra step
For Windows you need to open VectortoGcode.jsx with any text editor and edit the las line.
Between the cuotes you need to enter the location in which you app is located.
For example :
File('C:\\Users\\UserName\\Desktop\\vtg\\VectortoGcode-win32-ia32\\VectortoGcode.exe').execute(); Make sure to use double backslash
Troubleshooting
If you are having problems with the app try the following things.
For Mac
1. Try closing the app and reopening it.
2. If the first option doesn't work, close the app again and make sure the app has read and write permissions to Documents. You can follow the steps below:
• On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy , then click Privacy.
• Select Files and Folders
• Select the checkbox below of VectorToGecode app to allow it to access files and folders in Documents.
3. If the second option doesn't work then close the app again and delete the VectorToGcode folder in Documents. Then open the app again and insert your license.
For Windows
1. Try closing the app and reopening it.
